The recent passing of Deputy K9 “Jax”, a German Shepherd owned and handled by Captain Michael White was given a touching memorial by those that loved and respected this admirable dog. Jax passes due to a sudden illness. Dr. Schwartz of Spring Hill Animal Hospital, along with a 6 car police escort transported Jax to Live Oak Pet Crematory for a private cremation.
Service dogs give themselves unselfishly to our safety and it is especially nice to see they are given the honor and respect they deserve for their work. Thank you Jax for your years of dedication and to Capt. White for taking such good care of this great K9.
